Sculpture Walk

Sculptors from all over New Zealand are confirmed to exhibit around the shores of Tauriko’s The Lakes subdivision. A vast range of work will adorn this new outdoor sculpture exhibition ‘stage’ at this year’s Garden & Artfest in Tauranga.
Over 30 sculptors, including two working in Europe, will be exhibiting work ranging from steel to bronze, stone, glass, timber and ceramic. This exciting new exhibition has attracted interest from both established and emerging NZ sculptors, all of whom offer the best original work in their medium.

All work is for sale and it is anticipated that "up and coming" sculptors will sell as fast as the better known names. Anna Korver will have several of her sinuous marble figures available, Tanya Blong one of her haunting, powerful wooden pieces; Neville Parker will be one of three sculptors bringing work from Nelson, and Rudi Buchanan-Strewe is offering his remarkable, quirky little bronzes.

From modern to more traditional, large to tabletop – the array of sculptures will be vast. Bring your family for a stroll around The Lakes – and be inspired by the shapes and forms on display.
